Remove the hook from winch and replace it with a safer, more durable FlatLink D-ring. The FlatLink shackle holder is the industry's first foldable shackle holder for recovery winches. At less than 1.75 inches thick, the Flatlink will work with all roller-guided license plate mounting brackets.

The hooks of winch conventional straps can cut and fray the recovery straps and often allow the ends of the straps to escape during the momentary loosening cycles of a recovery winch typical. Shackles with threaded pins do not allow the strap loops to escape due to the secure threaded pin accessory. FlatLink requires no splices and supports steel wires or synthetic ropes up to 3/8 inch in diameter. The cable eye is held in the FlatLink by a 5/8-inch diameter grade 5 steel double-shear pin and an internal retention ring. It's easy to install in minutes. The EPDM rubber protectors protect the alloy passages and are securely attached to the FlatLink with 4 spiked tips. The FlatLink shields perfectly against roller guides or Hawse type and is designed to be used with common 3/4 inch shackles.
